Minor girl’s body goes missing from graveyard in Odisha

Nabarangpur: In a highly unusual incident, body of a minor girl went missing from a graveyard near Sanabharandi village under Umerkote block of Odisha’s Nabarangpur district.

According to reports, the girl had allegedly committed suicide yesterday while the body was buried by her family members at the graveyard.

However, the spot of burial was found to be excavated this morning and the body was missing. Kin of the deceased have lodged a police complaint in this regard alleging that miscreants exhumed and stole the body.

Cops have started investigation into the matter.
