Miscreants loot gold worth over Rs 10 lakh at gunpoint in Odisha
Baripada: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted gold ornaments worth over Rs 10 lakh at gunpoint in Odisha’s Baripada town, today.
According to reports, four-motorcycle borne miscreants intercepted a car in which five persons including a woman were travelling at Gunju Sahi here. They threatened the occupants of the vehicle with gun and snatched away the gold ornaments from the possession of the victims.

The robbers also thrashed one of the victims injuring him critically before fleeing the spot. Baripada Sadar police have started an investigation into the incident while efforts were on by cops to identify and trace the wrongdoers.
