Miscreants loot Rs 12 crore from finance company office in Odisha’s Cuttack city

Cuttack: Unidentified armed miscreants allegedly looted around Rs 12 crore from the office of IIFL financial services at Naya Sadak in Odisha’s Cuttack city today.

According to reports, four persons possessing guns entered the office this morning around 9.30 am and threatened the staffers. Later, they thrashed the employees and decamped with the cash.

On being informed, Lalbag police reached the spot and initiated an investigation. The statement of the staffers have been recorded while efforts were on by cops to identify and trace the looters.

The CCTV cameras installed at the office were reportedly not functioning.
