Miscreants loot valuables, car from professor’s house in Odisha

Unidentified miscreants looted valuables and a car from the house of a professor at Ajay Colony in Odisha’s Balangir district last night.

According to reports, the robbers entered into the house of Uttamkanti Jena, professor at Radhanath Institute of Advanced Studies in Education in Cuttack, by breaking the grill of the window when no one was present in the house and looted TV, laptop and gold ornaments.

They loaded the stolen items inside the car of the professor and fled the spot.

On releasing about the theft after returning home, Jena lodged a complaint with Balangir Town police following which investigation started into the incident.
