Miscreants posing as patients loot doctor’s house in Odisha

Nabarangpur: The miscreants posing as patients looted cash and jewelries from the house of a doctor here in the district.

The incident took place at around 11.30 pm yesterday at Indravati town.

According to reports, two miscreants posing as patients entered into the residence of Dr. Pradipta Kumar Praharaj, posted at Indravati Government Hospital, at night. Along with them, two others covering their faces barged into the house and looted Rs 40,000 cash, gold ornaments weighing around 55 gram and four mobile phones at gun and knifepoint.

A complaint in this connection has been filed at Indravati police station in the morning.
