Mishap at ‘Maut Ka Kuan’ show leaves eight injured in Odisha

Nuapada: As many as eight persons sustained injuries due to a mishap at ‘Maut Ka Kuan’ stunt show being held at Sinapali of Odisha’s Nuapada district last evening.

According to reports, the platform on which spectators were watching the show collapsed around 9 pm following which eight of them fell down from a height of 50 feet.

The victims were immediately rushed to Sinapali community health centre. Five of them who sustained critical injuries were shifted to Khariar and Dharmagarh hospitals.

Police sources said the stunt show was being organised illegally.
