Miss Odisha Shrutiksha Nayak finishes in Top 12 at Femina Miss India 2018 beauty pageant

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar girl Shrutiksha Nayak who bagged the Femina Miss India Odisha 2018 title reached the Top 12 of the grand finale of fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 in a glittering ceremony in Mumbai yesterday.

Shrutiksha, who competed with 30 other state winners performed Odissi in the finale and even danced to Dola Re with Bollywood dancing queen Madhuri Dixit-Nene.

This Journalism and Mass Communication student from Odisha performed well in various sub-rounds of the contest, but fell short in clinching the coveted crown in the finale. Being a dancer and a fitness model, she did a Bollywood hip-hop number in the Miss Talented Round sub-contest, apart from participating in official glam shoots among other sub-contests.

She faced the jury panel that comprised of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar, actors Malaika Arora Khan, Bobby Deol and Kunal Kapoor, jounalist and news anchor Faye D’Souza, cricketers Irfan Pathan and K L Rahul and designer Gaurav Gupta. The crowning ceremony was hosted by Karan Johar and Ayushmann Khurrana with breath-taking performances by Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu was crowned Femina Miss India 2018.
