Missing lawyer found dead inside well in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: A missing lawyer was found dead inside a well at Nuasahi under Bidanasi police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack city, late last night.

The deceased was identified as Arya Choudhury. He was a resident of Telenga Bazar here.

According to reports, Arya on March 9 went out of his house and didn’t return for long time. Suspecting foul play, his family members had lodged a complaint in this regard with police.

Cops recovered the body from the well and sent it to the SCB Medical College and Hospital here for post-mortem. The body will be handed over to his kin after autopsy.

Arya’s mother alleged that her son was murdered and thrown into the well.

Police have started an investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances under which he died.
