Missing man found dead under bridge in Odisha district

Sundergarh: A 30-year-old man, who was missing since Sunday, was found dead under mysterious circumstances under a bridge at Khuntagaon village under Lahunipara Tehsil in Sundergarh district today.

The deceased identified as Shiba Charan Sahu was a resident of Sadhubahala village under Lahunipara police limits.

Sources said on Sunday, Sahu went outside and did not return to the house after that. Today, some passersby spotted his body under a bridge and immediately called up the police. The Lahunipara police recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.

While the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, cops have begun an investigation into the incident.
