Missing mystery woman holds key to Sarathi Productions

While the Odisha Crime Branch police has already interrogated Ollywood actor Akhil Patnaik and has served summons to some actors connected with Srimad Sarathi Production, a woman who had been deserted by her husband and was keeping accounts of transactions running into crores of rupees of the production house run by the self-styled god man’s so-called son Satyam has mysteriously gone missing.

Who is this mysterious woman?  What is her relationship with Srimad Sarathi? Where is she now? These are the questions that have become the talk of the town. On the other hand, several actors and technicians who were earlier working with Srimad Sarathi Production have joined television channels after the Baba was arrested and his misdeeds were exposed. Some have reportedly taken away with them costly shooting and editing equipment towards their outstanding wages.

According to Crime Branch sources, the agency has revved up its investigations based on the facts it has obtained from Akhil Patnaik, hero of the Odia movie ‘Bachelor’ and husband of producer of the film Mitali Madhumita. The movie was produced under the Sarathi Productions banner.

Sources said while Satyam, the so-called son of the self-styled god man managed the affairs of the production house for name’s sake, it was actually the mysterious woman who controlled the real strings. This mysterious woman who is said to have been deserted by her husband is yet to come under the Crime Branch’s scanner. The woman has gone missing after Sarathi was nabbed. Some knowledgeable Ollywood actors have revealed on condition of anonymity to our sister concern leading Odia daily Sambad that several facts about the transactions of the production house running into crores can be ascertained if this woman is traced.

A most reliable source revealed that this mysterious woman used to visit the Trishna Enclave bungalow of Satyam at Patia here in a luxury car every Friday for the last one year. She used to be accompanied by Satyam and his driver. Leaving the woman alone in the house, Satyam and his driver used to leave for the apartment at Shree Vihar to sleep. On the other hand, another luxury car used to come to the bungalow late in the night, in which Sarathi used to come secretly and stay there for the night. Sarathi, along with the woman, used to return to Barimul ashram in the wee hours. It was Satyam who used to lock the house after their departure. Satyam used to address this woman as ‘aunty’. The woman, who had acted in a bhajan album with Akhil, is believed to wield strong influence on both Sarathi and Satyam.

Further, there are reports that a Ollywood director Subrat used to invest Sarathi Production House money in several soaps (telly serials) aired on different television channels. This woman was on her way to launch a television channel in the name of Sarathi. She was being helped by Akhil and two youth Bubuna and Manas in her project. Preparations were on to produce another film using funds from Sarathi.

Its being widely said that this mysterious woman has vanished with the fraudster god man’s money after his arrest.

Reportedly, it was the Srimad Sarathi’s blessings and funds that made the small time telly  actor Akhil, who used to wear a locket of the god man around his neck and sing paeans to him, into a film hero overnight. Akhil had somehow persuaded Sarathi and produced the movie ‘Bachelor’ with his wife as the producer and himself as the hero of the film. However, the film had flopped at the Box Office. Another film produced with Sarathi’s funds too didn’t do well at the Box Office. A female actor had made her debut in Ollywood through the second film of Sarathi’s production house. Talk of the town is debutante female actors often ended up as victims of the casting couch syndrome in these movies and Akhil was the man in the background. Akhil is now in the Crime Branch net.
