MLA Naba Das caught watching porn in Odisha Assembly!

In a major political embarrassment to the Opposition Congress, a member of the Grand Old party was reportedly caught watching pornography on his mobile phone while the Assembly was in session today.

Jharsuguda legislator Naba Kishore Das was captured in the camera by a television cameraperson of a private news channel while the Congress member was scrolling down the screen of a smartphone. The MLA was reportedly watching pornography while the winter session of the Assembly was in progress.

However, the Congress leader vehemently denied the allegations and claimed “conspiracy” against him.

“This is an unfortunate incident. I accidentally clicked on YouTube. I have no idea how to operate a smartphone. I was not aware of the content on the internet. It is a conspiracy against me. I am open to any probe. I will put my clarification before the Speaker tomorrow,” the beleaguered MLA Naba Kishore Das claimed.

The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD), which is in the firing line of the Opposition parties over farmer suicides and Polavaram issue, predictably launched an attack on the political rival.

“This is a shameful incident. This is shameful for the women and the people of Odisha. We damand an inquiry into the episode. He should be barred from the Assembly,” BJD women’s wing president Pramila Mallick demanded.

The other leaders were also quick to demand for action against Das.

“This marks the beginning of a blemished episode. Action should be initiated against him,” BJD leader Amar Prasad Satpathy expressed.
