BJP national president Rajnath Singh and Gujarat chief minister and prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi would arrive in Odisha on April 2 and 4 respectively to address public meetings in some parliamentary constituencies going to polls on April 10.
A party release today said Singh would arrive at Kotpad under Nabarangpur Lok Sabha constituency from Jagdalpur in a chopper at 10.55 AM on Wednesday.
After addressing the public meeting at Bhairav ground at Kotpad, he would head for Bhawanipatna where he would address a public meeting at the Bhawanipatna College ground at 12.20 PM.
From there, he would fly to Phulbani and address a public meeting there at 1.45 PM.
Later, he would head for Brahmapur where he would address another meeting at the Nilakantheswar temple ground.
After completing his election tour, Singh would return to Bhubaneswar for a night halt and leave for New Delhi on the next day.
As per the tour itinerary, Modi would arrive at Nuapada at 1.40 PM from Raipur on April 4 and address a public meeting. Later, he would fly to Bolangir and address a public meeting at the Police Reserve Ground at 3.15 PM.
From there, he would head for Rourkela where he is scheduled to address a public meeting at the Airport field at 5.15 pm.
He would leave for Ahmedabad in a special flight at 6.15 PM, the release said.
