More than 30 injured as bus tyre bursts in Odisha’s Kandhamal

Baliguda: Over 30 persons sustained injuries as a bus in which they were travelling met with an accident at Mundasahi under Kotagarh police limits in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, today.

Condition of 15 of the victims was stated to be critical. The injured ones were rescued by police and admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the ill-fated vehicle carrying around 40 passengers was heading towards Phulbani from Muniguda in Rayagada district when a tyre of the bus burst.

Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels following which it got dashed against roadside trees leaving the passengers injured.
