Morning classes to start in Odisha schools from April 11 in view of summer

Bhubaneswar: In view of the summer season, the Odisha Government has announced that classes for students of Class-I to Class-XII in schools and higher secondary schools across the state will be held from 7 AM to 11.30 AM from April 11.

The Collectors have been asked to change the timings as per the heatwave situation in their districts.

The school authorities have been directed to make arrangement of clean drinking water and other necessary facilities on the premises.

The government has also decided that the academic session for the year 2023-24 will commence from April 3.
