The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Odisha Crime Branch police today arrested an owner of a Jaidev Vihar-based pathology laboratory in the city in connection with the pre-employment health check-up scam allegedly devised by former Assistant Director in Directorate of Factories and Boilers Dr Motilal Gouda.

The sleuths arrested one of the directors of Konark Healthcare Private Limited Priyabrata Mohapatra from here. Notably, Konark Healthcare Private Limited is one of the five diagnostics empanelled by Dr Motilal Gouda who was arrested from Andhra Pradesh earlier this month in the fake gazette notification case.

Besides Mohapatra, two more pathology laboratory owners were arrested earlier in connection with the scam.
