In order to provide emergency healthcare services to pregnant women and new-born infants, the Odisha government today signed a MoU with the Mumbai-based Zigitsa group of companies.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Health and Family Welfare minister Damodar Rout and secretary, Health and Family Welfare PK Mohapatra at the State Secretariat here.
As per the MoU, Zikiza would roll out 24x7 free referral transportation and health helpline services across the state within four months.
Special ambulance services would be provided to the needy patients who can avail the service bydialling 102.
The company would roll out 500 special ambulances in the state in phases.
