Narrow escape for cops as crane hits traffic post in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Two Traffic Constables manning at one of the busiest squares in the Odisha Capital city had a narrow escape this morning when a speeding crane hit a traffic post at the square.

As per reports, Traffic Constables, Bijay Sahu and Prakash Martha were manning a traffic post at the Shishu Bhavan square like any other day. At round 8 am, a speeding crane coming towards Raj Mahal Square from Airport Square hit the traffic post.

Seeing the crane approaching the traffic post, the two Traffic Constables ran away to save their lives.

The traffic post has been completely damaged in the mishap.

Police detained the crane driver following the incident.
