National Games Football: Odisha eves storm into semis

Odisha stormed into the semi-finals of the women’s football in the ongoing 35^th National Games at the Corporation Stadium, Trissur in Kerala after they drubbed host Kerala by 5-0 goals in the last league round match yesterday.

The Odisha eves would meet Haryana in the semifinals.

For Odisha, Pyari Xaxa scored two goals in the 15^th and 64^th minute while Sasmita Mallick, Pinky Bompal Magar and Sinulata Sahoo scored a goal each in the 38^th, 56^th and 90^th minute respectively.

With this resounding victory, Odisha topped the group with nine points by winning three league matches.
