National Games: Odisha rowing team bag 1 gold, 1 silver

The Odisha rowing team won one gold and one silver medal in the ongoing 35th National Games at Vembanad Lake, Alappuzha in Kerala today.

Sanjukta Dung Dung and Manjula Xess won the gold medal in the women’s 500-metre Coxswain Less Pair event with a timing of 1:47 minutes while Meena Madhuri Toppo, Sanjukta Dung Dung, Manjula Xess and Pricila Baxla won a silver medal in the women’s 500-metre Coxless Four event clocking 1:40 minutes.
