Gangpur Odisha registered a hat trick in the National women (B division) hockey tournament going on at Bengaluru by winning three matches consecutively.
While Gangpur Odisha won their first match against Rajastan by 5-1 goals, they defeated Telengana by a huge gap of 15-1 goals. In their second match the team beat Jammu-Kashmir by 5-0 goals to add a ‘Hat trick’ feature to their cap. While Kishore Topo scored two goals for Gangpur Odisha, Rojita Kujur, Rinki Kujur and Jalhabi Pradhan scored one goal each.
Gangpur Odisha will take on Bihar in their next match.
