Naveen accuses national parties for disappointing Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) chief Naveen Patnaik, who is otherwise known for his soft stand towards the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) despite claims of equidistance from it and the Congress, today targeted the BJP though without naming it for destroying the federal structure of the country for its vested interest.

“Politicians of national parties have repeatedly disappointed Odisha. By destroying the federal structure of the country they are working for the vested interests of their party. They have misled people by promoting a fake picture of development. People of Odisha have never believed their lies and will also not do in the future,” stated Patnaik addressing party workers at Salia Sahi here on the seventh day of the BJD’s Jan Samperk Padayatra which was launched on October 2-Gandhi Jayanti.

Patnaik said his party which believes in Biju babu’s ideology and is committed to the interest of the 4.5 crore Odias.

“Our party which believes in the ideology of Biju babu and is committed to the interests of 4.5 crore Odias. It is committed to the soil, water and air of Odisha. You all have to work to further take ahead the era development that has started. In the field of welfare our State has been a model in the entire country,” Patnaik exhorted party workers.
