Naveen turns saviour for 12-year- old paralytic Odisha girl

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday met Aishwarya, a 12-year-old girl suffering from multiple sclerosis and assured her of assistance for her medical treatment.

The girl, who has completely lost her vision and is suffering from paralysis because of the disease, had expressed her desire to meet the Chief Minister.

After coming to know about her desire from a report appearing in a local newspaper, the Chief Minister had invited her along with her parents for a personal  meeting.

The family visited the Chief Minister at the secretariat on Monday to the delight of the little girl. Her father Antaduta Pandey briefed the Chief Minister about the disease and her ongoing treatment.

Moved by her plight, Patnaik asked his staff to arrange for her proper treatment and wished her a speedy recovery.

The girl, on the other hand, has expressed her desire to see the Chief Minister again after getting well.
