Nesco Utilities Junior Manager caught taking bribe in Odisha

Udala: A Junior Manager of Nesco Utilities, Kaptipada Section in Mayurbhanj district was caught red- handed by Vigilance officials while he was accepting illegal gratification of Rs 1300.

As per information, Junior Manager Aswini Kumar Das Adhikari had  demanded the bribe from one Sisir Kumar Nayak, who works as a private driver, of Janakpur village under Kaptipada police in the district. Aswini had asked Sisir to give the money for signing on a hire charge bill of the latter’s vehicle for the month of October. 

Acting on a complaint lodged by Sisir,  a team of the anti-corruption wing laid a trap and caught Ashwini red-handed.

The bribe money has been recovered, said an official.
