New Balangir Sub-Collector appointed after suspension of ‘tainted’ official

Balangir/Bhubaneswar: OAS officer Sudhakar Nayak, who was serving as the Deputy Secretary to Government of General Administration and Public Grievance (GA& PG) Department in Ganjam district has been appointed the new Sub-Collector of Balagir district.

The appointment was made following suspension of former Balangir sub-collector Sanjay Mishra after a woman accused her of sexual harassment at workplace.

This apart, OAS Pramod Kumar Sahoo who was earlier deputed as the additional Project Director (PD) in District Rural Development Agencies (DRDA)Khordha has been transferred and appointed as the Deputy CEO in the Office of the CEO, Bhubaneswar.
