Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain is likely to lash several parts of Odisha next week if a forecast by Senior Meteorologist Jason Nicholls is anything to go by.
Nicholls has predicted that a new low pressure is likely to form over the north west Bay of Bengal next week. Though he has not stated anything about the effects of the new low pressure in Odisha, heavy downpour is mostly expected in the State.
The International Forecasting Manager at AccuWeather also forecasted a weak low pressure near South Chhattisgarh can bring downpours in parts of the Central India.
A low near the coast of #Kutch will bring heavy spells of rain to portions of #Gujarat into S #Pakistan over the next few days. Another weak low near S #Chhattisgarh can bring downpours to parts of C #India. A new low may form in the NW BOB next week. pic.twitter.com/kJ5Gpl9nfG
