NHRC camp court in Odisha capital from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Nov 9:

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)’ will hold a two-day camp court at the State Guest House in the Odisha capital from tomorrow.

The state government’s Home department has made all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the camp court.

Member of the Commission Sharad Chandra Sinha, who will conduct hearing of cases registered with the NHRC from different districts of Odisha, has already arrived in the city.

The Commission will also hold meetings with the Chief Secretary, DG Police, District Magistrates and SPs with regard to various human rights related and development issues.

It would also meet different NGOs on November 12.

Sources said, around 63 cases have been enlisted by the Commission for hearing.
