Niranjan Patnaik condoles senior Cong leader Laxman Mallick’s death

Former Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president Niranjan Patnaik has expressed his deepest condolence over the sad demise of senior Congress leader, former minister and MP Laxman Mallick.

In a condolence message Patnaik described Mallick as a sober, intelligent and widely respected political leader in Odisha politics.

Patnaik said Mallick was always concerned with the development of the state and made untiring efforts for the uplift of the dalits and marginalised sections of the society.

Describing Mallick’s demise as a great loss for the entire state Patnaik expressed his deepest sympathies for the bereaved family.

Patnaik had visited the departed leaders residence on Sunday to pay his last repects.
