Nominations sought for Ekalabya Award-2016

Odisha-based Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), managed by IMFA Group today invited nominations for prestigious Ekalabya Puraskar-2016.

Ekalabya Puraskar is the annual sports award for outstanding young sportsperson of Odisha which carries a cash prize of Rs. 500,000 (Rupees five lakh). Besides the main award two citation awards are also given which carry cash prize of Rs. 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand only) each. Interested candidates should send their nominations through sports organizations/Boards/Associations, Universities, Colleges and Schools within Odisha. Candidates must not exceed 25 years of age as on 31^st March 2016.

Application should state clearly, supported by evidence and proof of age, events, performance history at State, National and International level sports competitions in the past two years i.e. from April 2014 to March 2016.

The nominations must reach Ekalabya Puraskar, IMFA Trust, Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar-751010 latest by May 31, 2016. Alternatively, nominations can be e-mailed to [email protected] in which case the supporting documents must be sent separately to the postal address mentioned above.
