Now, an audio album on Blue Whale game in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Lesser known Ollywood music director who had shot to fame overnight for his audio album on sheep killings ‘Mendha Marila Kiye’ has once again come up with another album – cautioning the young generation to stay away from the deadly dare game ‘Blue Whale Challenge’ which has engulfed several youths into its clutches in Odisha.

After Manas Kumar’s satirical take on the mysterious sheep killings in Niali, the young singer-director has released the studio version of the album on YouTube.

“The Blue Whale game has created panic in Odisha. The game had its negative impact on the youth who are falling into its trap. We have created this to make people aware of its perils.” Singer Mitu Manas said.

The duo Manash Kumar and Mitu Manash has sent out a message to the people to not to indulge in the game which instigates the player to commit suicide.

The singer duo expects the album to have its positive impact on people.

“Manash Bhai has always come up with issues which are much talked about. Now, he is offering the Blue Whale song,” Mitu added.

While Manash and Mitu have lent voice to the album, Bikash Kumar has penned the song.

Notably, Kumar’s creation had not gone well with the fraternity as it had hit out at him saying one should not make fun of people’s misery and produce such album.
