OBC survey starts in Odisha; Know how to submit form online, offline

Bhubaneswar: The Other Backward Classes (OBC) survey began in Odisha, today. It will continue till May 27.

The survey is being conducted by the Odisha State Commission for Backward Classes in both online and offline modes.

It will be carried out in all the 314 blocks and 114 urban local bodies of the state.

Odisha is the second state after Bihar to conduct OBC survey. The survey will encompass various indicators of the backwardness such as occupation, educational qualifications along with the type of educational institutions attended by the members of the households to gauge the social and educational conditions of the backwardness in Odisha.

Offline Mode

The head/senior member of the family will have to register for the survey at respective survey centres with their ration card and identity proof (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card and Passport).

Families without ration cards can also go to the survey centre with the ID proofs as mentioned above.

The centers will remain open from 10 am to 5 pm on all working days.

Online Mode

ICR Survey Forms can be submitted online on the Survey Portal by any individual for himself/ herself and family members.
