The tickets are being sold in the conference hall of Barabati stadium. OCA has reserved 13,424 tickets for being sold to these partner organisations. The sale would continue tomorrow as well.

It may be noted that OCA plans to sell overall 33,000 tickets for the second T20 between India and South Africa scheduled to be played at Barabati Stadium of Cuttack on October 5.

While online sale of tickets for the matches began on September 16 and would finish today, over the counter tickets sales would begin on October 1 and continue till October 3.

“Three counters would be set up to ensure smooth sale of the tickets over the counter on October 1. Sale would continue till October 3. We have reserved 20,000 tickets for counter sales to the general public. Besides, all the unsold tickets from online sales and affiliated body sales would be passed on to over the counter sales,” said OCA Joint Secretary Sanjeev Dutt here today.

Speaking about the preparedness of the stadium and OCA for the match, he expressed confidence over OCA’s capabilities.

“Even though this is the first T-20 international, T-20 as a format is nothing new for us. We have hosted quite a few IPL T-20 matches here. The ground and the outfield are also ready,” he added.
