Cuttack, Oct 20:
The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has announced it would donate Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the relief and rehabilitation of the cyclone and flood-affected victims of the state.

“OCA is likely to get around Rs 5.5 crore from sale proceeds of the India-Australia one-day match tickets and sponsorships. Since the state has been battered by the nature’s fury, we would take all measures of austerity in conducting the match and the entire unspent amount would be given to the CMRF,” OCA secretary Asirbad Behera told reporters here.

He said the OCA’s contribution could be between Rs 75 lakh and Rs 1 crore.
