Odia film producer Subash Rout passes away

Cuttack: Eminent Odia filmmaker Subash Rout today passed away following a massive cardiac arrest. He was 62.

Rout was undergoing treatment since a long time for cancer. He breathed his last in the wee hours at his residence at Chhatra Bazaar in Cuttack.

He is best known for a series of hit movies including ‘Suna Panjuri’, ‘Santan’, ‘Bhagya Hate Dori’, ‘Lakhman Rekha’ and ‘Singha Bahini’.
