Odisha MLA turns saviour for accident victim

Balasore:  MLA Sudhanshu Sekhar Parida of Remuna Assembly Constituency in Balasore turned out to be a life saviour for an accident victim on national highway in Soro area of the district today.

The accident victim identified as Khitish Kumar Acharya, son of one Krushna Chandra Acharya of Belsarpur village under Khaira police limits, is now undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

As per sources sources Khitish, a pharmacist, met with a road accident while travelling on his motorcycle on NH at Kupari Chhak in Soro this morning. Critically-injured Khitish was lying on the road with a bleeding nose and ears. MLA Parida,who was passing on the road for personal work, stopped by the injured youth, got him into his vehicle to admit him to District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).

However, as his condition started worsening, the legislator rushed him to SCB. Doctors at the hospital immediately shifted Khitish to ICU for treatment.

Meanwhile, this kind act of the MLA has earned him praises from all quarters in the district.
