Odisha: 15 persons test positive for coronavirus in a day, tally at 20
Bhubaneswar: Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha crossed single digit as a total of 15 persons tested positive for the virus today, said Health & Family Welfare Department.
They are 7 close contacts of a person of Surya Nagar in Bhubaneswar who had earlier tested positive for coronavirus, three persons of Bomikhal in Bhubaneswar, two cases of Bhadrak and one each of Cuttack, Puri and Jajpur.
The seven persons who came in contact with the Surya Nagar resident have been identified as his wife, his daughter and tenants.
Maiden cases have been registered in Puri and Jajpur districts. With this, the number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha rose to 20.
15 COVID Positive cases confirmed today:
7 close contacts of Suryanagar case (including wife, daughter and tenants)
3 persons of Bomikhal
1 case of Cuttack
1 case of Puri
1 case of Jajpur

A total of 282 samples– 237 at RMRC, 25 at AIIMS and 20 at SCB Medical College and Hospital– were tested today. Till date, as many as 1395 have been tested in the state.
