Odisha: 20-year-old youth found dead on rail tracks

Balasore: The body of a 20-year-old youth was found along the rail tracks at Arada Bazaar near the railway station here this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Ganesh, son of one Nishikant Jena of Parakhi village under Sadar police limits in the district.

Sources said locals first spotted the body along the rail tracks at around 9.30 AM today and called up the police.The Government Railway Police (GRP) reached the spot and sent the body to district headquarters hospital (DHH) for post-mortem.

However, the reason behind death of the youth is yet to be ascertained. Investigation is on into the incident, said police.
