Odisha: 4 children critical after consuming pesticide while playing in Bhadrak village

Bhadrak: As many as four children are in a critical state after they inadvertently consumed pesticide while playing in a field in Odisha’s Bhadrak district. The shocking incident was reported from Jhinkiria village under Tihidi block of the district.

As per reports, four children including two boys and as many girls ages 2-3 years were playing in a field when they accidentally consumed Active-80, a pesticide. Family members panicked when they saw the toddlers showing symptoms of sickness and rushed them to a hospital nearby. However, the children were shifted to the district headquarters hospital as their condition deteriorated.
