Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally today further surged to 3,34,020 after 154 more persons in the state tested positive for the deadly virus in last 24 hours.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 21 districts, 89 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 65 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sambalpur recorded highest 19 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh and Puri with 18 cases each.
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 1,519 and recovered cases at 3,30,545.
