Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally today further surged to 3,29,306 after 305 more persons in the state tested positive for the deadly virus in last 24 hours.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 28 districts, 174 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 131 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh and Sambalpur recorded highest 28 fresh cases each followed by Angul (26).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 2,607 and recovered cases at 3,24,775.
