Odisha adds 5 more COVID-19 hospitals to its fleet

Bhubaneswar:  Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik  today inaugurated five more COVID-19 hospitals in separate districts taking  the total number of the designated hospitals to 27.

The CM dedicated the facilities located in Angul, Bargarh, Jagatsinghpur, Nabarangpur and Sundergarh though video conference in the presence of Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Prahlad Joshi and Odisha Health Minister Naba Das.

During the inauguration. the Union Ministers have assured to extend all kind of support to the state in its battle against coronavirus, said Das. Besides, as per the state Government’s direction, doctors and health workers engaged in the COVID-19 hospitals will be provided with PPE, food, accommodation  and  transportation facilities. All districts of the state will have the COVID-19 hospital in next few days, he added.

“With the right kind of roadmap prepared by CM Naveen Patnaik and support from the public, Odisha will soon get past this COVID-19 crisis,” said Naba Das.
