Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 situation in Odisha has reached an alarming stage as the state reported as many as 7071 fresh cases during the last 24 hours.
While 69,018 samples were tested in the state yesterday, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 10.2%.
Out of the 7071 cases, 707 are children below 18 years of age. Khurda district reported highest 2226 new infections, followed by Sundargarh (1147) and Sambalpur (609).
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1082769 with 27216 active cases.
