Odisha adds 8520 new COVID cases; TPR 11.7%

Bhubaneswar: As many as 8520 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 72,524 samples were tested in the state, yesterday.

The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 11.7%. Out of the 8520 cases, 937 are children below 18 years of age.

Khurda district registered highest 2262 fresh infections, followed by Sundargarh (932) and Cuttack (789).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha reached 1204660 with 85320 active cases.
