Odisha Agriculture Cabinet to meet tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Agriculture Cabinet will meet tomorrow.

The meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to be held at 5.30 pm in the State Secretariat, said sources.

Sources revealed that after the Agriculture Cabinet meet Chief Minister Patnaik is likely to announce a package for farmers whose crops have been affected due to pest attack.

It’s worth mentioning here that in the last one week farmers in many districts have torched their paddy fields following the attack by brown planthopper.

Also, farmers are committing suicides after sustaining crop loss due to pest attack.
