Odisha appoints four officers for coronavirus containment

Bhubaneswar: Intensifying its efforts to contain spreading of COVID-19, the Odisha Government today appointed as many as four officials as Officer on Special Duty.

They are Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, CGM, OMFED, Bhubaneswar; P. Anvesha Reddy, ED, OMC Ltd., Bhubaneswar; Patil Ashish Ishwar, ED, GRIDCO, Bhubaneswar and Divakara T.S., OSD, OCAC, Bhubaneswar.

All of them have been posted as Officer on Special Duty till 30.06.2020 for enforcement of ‘The Odisha COVID-19 Regulations, 2020′.

The Health & Family Welfare Department of the Odisha Government has issued various regulations in view of the COVID-19 outbreak. The State Cabinet has already approved the regulations namely ‘COVID-19 Odisha Regulations, 2020’. The regulations will remain valid for a period of one year.
