Odisha Assembly adjourned till tomorrow

The first day of the monsoon session of Odisha Assembly got washed away without any business as BJD members created ruckus over Mahanadi and Polavaram issues forcing Speaker Niranjan Pujari to adjourn the House till tomorrow.

Earlier in the day, the ruling party members shouted slogans against the Centre and Chhattisgarh government over the Mahanadi issue as soon as the House assembled for the session.

Unable to run the House, Speaker Niranjan Pujari adjourned the Assembly till 3 PM.

As the House reassembled after 3 PM, BJD members again created ruckus over Mahanadi and Polavaram issues following which Speaker Pujari adjourned the House till tomorrow.
