Odisha beaten 2-0 by Kerala in semis; out of Jr Women’s Nationals

Kerala gave a shocker to Hockey-Gangpur Odisha beating them 2-0 in the second semifinal of the 4^th Junior Women’s National Championship (Division-B) at Chamundi Vihar hockey ground here this evening. The defeat ended their run in this edition of the Championship.

The Kerala eves took the lead in the 26^th minute when Sindhu MR scored a brilliant field goal.

In the second half, both the teams played an attacking game. However, another brilliant goal by Amala Thomas in the 68^th minute sealed the fate of the Odisha team.
