Odisha: Birthday surprise for 93-year-old COVID patient in ICU

Balangir: It was a birthday worth remembering for 93-year-old Gopabandhu Mishra, who is being treated in the ICU at KIMS COVID Hospital here, as some doctors and staffers of the healthcare facility celebrated the nonagenarian’s birthday.

The healthcare workers not only groomed the elderly man on the occasion, but also ensured birthday vibe in the ICU with decoration.

Sharing photos of the celebration on Twitter, Balangir Collector said Mishra’s progress in recovery has motivated the officials and healthcare workers. The act by the doctors and staffers has been praised by many.
