Odisha BJP demands security for Erasama victim Parbati Sasmal

A BJP delegation led by Lekhasri Samantsinghar today met Odisha DGP KB Singh demanding security for Erasama victim Parbati Sasmal, who was allegedly beaten up by BJD supporters for trying to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during road show in Bhubaneswar.

The members also demanded immediate arrest of culprits who allegedly assaulted the woman.

According to reports, Parbati Sasmal was attacked by few goons while trying to hand over a letter to PM Modi over harassment she faced at her village.

Sources said that Parbati was beaten up by the supporters of ruling BJD.

Earlier, a delegation led by BJP state president Basanta Panda had met the victim at Kalikuda village under Kunjkothi panchayat on April 21.
