Odisha boy Abineet tops ICSE 2016 Class X exam

Odisha’s Abineet Pariccha has topped the Class 10 with 99.2% marks, results of which were announced by Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today.

Abineet from Little Flower School in Western Odisha town of Balangir was the Class 10 topper. The second position has been shared by four students- Sudarshan R (Bangalore), Isha Sethi (Mumbai), Manan Manish Shah (Kandivali) and Jyotsana Srivastava (Lucknow) who scored 99%. The third position has been shared by 10 students with a score of 98.8%.

On the other hand, Mumbai’s Aadyaa Maddi of Mumbai’s Lilavati Poddar School topped the ISC (Class XII) exam under the same board with 99.75 %. Mumbai’s Mansi Puggal secured the second position with 99.50% while the third position was shared by Arkadeb Sengupta and Kavita Desai from Kolkata who scored 99.25%.

This year 42,880 students from across the country had appeared for the ISC exams, which began on February 8 and got over on April 8. Similarly, 1, 69, 381 students appeared for the ICSE exam, which started on February 29 and concluded on March 31.

Students can log in to http://cisceresults7303.azurewebsites.net/, select their course code (ICSE or ISC), enter their unique id and the Captcha and then click on the ‘show result’ button to see their results online.

Alternately, results can also be accessed through SMS by sending “ICSE” or “ISC” followed by the seven digit unique ID to 09248082883.
