Odisha Cabinet to finalise state’s annual budget plan today

The Odisha Cabinet will approve the state’s annual budget for 2015-16 fiscal at a meeting here today.

The meeting, to be presided over by chief minister Naveen Patnaik, would begin at 5 PM at the State Secretariat here.

The meeting, after a discussion, will decide on financial allocations to the departments.

Besides, the Cabinet, after discussing a number of draft bills, will also give its approval.

However, it is not known as to which draft bill would be presented in the Assembly.

The annual budget of the state would be presented by Finance minister Pradip Amat in the State Assembly on February 16.
